A Cool and Sunny Week of Skiing

We enjoyed skiing at Attitash and Bretton Woods this week. There isn't an overabundance of snow, but enough to enjoy ourselves. The temperature remained around 29 deg with little wind so it was very comfortable.

Shannon and Connor joined us for the week.

This is a pic of Mt. Washington from the Bretton Wood's ski base.

Max Shines at Regionals

The breast stroke continues to be Max's best stroke and he placed 2nd at Regionals last weekend in the 50 Breast, 4th in the 200 Breast and 7th in the 100 Breast. He came within .1 second of the championship placement time for the 50 Breast.

Celebrating my church's music program!

Our church director always brings inspiration in his musical direction of our Adult, Youth, and Junior Choir. He is playing the organ (I'm on the piano). This is a combined piece which makes me smile and appreciate the simple joys in life and thankful for for God's blessings.

Listen to the video of the St. John Jr. Choir Blog.

SHED!

I've been spending the last 2 weeks going through old boxes, sorting, and trying to decide what to keep and what to get rid of. This morning I heard a great acronym to use: Separate treasures, Heave the rest, Embrace identity from within, and Drive yourself forward. Without being aware of it this is what has been motivating me. Still have more to go. My goal is to have everything done by end of week -- wish me luck!
